Paul wins Grasmere Shield

Paul Pridmore playing off 17 won the Grasmere Shield medal competition on Sunday when he carded a gross 82 nett 65 that saw his handicap being cut to 15. Attilio Savasi off 11, Russell Elliott off 8, David Hodgson off 19 all had their handicaps reduced by one shot as they each returned a nett 67 with Attilio taking second place following a card play off.

Steven Jackson scooped the pool with the only “Two” of the day with his birdie on the 2nd hole.

Last week Alan Mc Nichol off 20 and Richard Barnes off 13 won the International Pairs Qualifier with 44 Stableford points and now go on to the semi-final to be played at Blairgowrie with the final being at Carnoustie later this year.
