From Keswick (or West Coast)
- Drive out of Keswick heading for Penrith and the M6 motorway.
After 4 miles you pass the village of Threlkeld and begin to head
slightly uphill on a straight course. The golf club is approximately
half a mile past the last Threlkeld turning on your right.
From Southern Lakes (Ambleside,
Kendal and Windermere) - Head towards Keswick on the A591. You drive
pass Thirlmere - the reservoir which feeds Manchester and drop down
towards St.Johns in the Vale. After approximately 2 miles you will
see a turning right on the B5322 signposted to Penrith. Take this
road to the main A66 T-junction. Turn right and Keswick Golf Club
is roughly 1 mile on your right.
