Our farm is situated just 2.5 miles from the charming market town of Keswick, and offers easy access to the historic Castlerigg Stone Circle. Additionally, High Rigg and Low Rigg, the closest fells to our site, are just a short stroll away and hold a special place in our hearts.

Those who are in love with the ’great outdoors’ will find the location of Burnside Park the perfect place to stay. These luxury pine log cabins are equipped for every modern day convenience and comfort. Situated in landscaped grounds at the foot of Latrigg and Skiddaw, with panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells. The site is within walking distance of Keswick town centre, making the lodges an ideal base to enjoy the amenities of Keswick without the hustle and bustle of the town itself. Watendlath is the larger style of two bedroom lodges, situated by a stream and with views to Skiddaw and Latrigg. Shop and restaurant 1 Mile, pub 200 yards.
Threlkeld Hall is an ideal base for walking. You can walk directly from the site and pick up the disused, converted railway line from Threlkeld to Keswick and enjoy three miles of well maintained mostly flat walking. The scenic footpath passes through the Greta Gorge by the River Greta with highlighted points of interest along the way.
Just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery or for the more adventurous you can try water sports, fishing, rock climbing, cycling, pony riding and paragliding all within a 5 mile area.

Situated in the heart of the Lake District in the picturesque Valley of St John’s in the Vale, Burns Farm is surrounded by some of the country’s largest mountains, Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Blencathra, but it also has beautiful lowland and river walks, including the Keswick to Threlkeld railway path.
The site is three miles east of Keswick Town & shops, one mile from Threlkeld Village & pubs, 15 miles from the M6 motorway and ½ a mile from the A66, on a wide road.
The nearest lake, Lake Derwentwater is just three miles, making Burns Farm the ideal location to explore the Lake District from your pitch or for a more unique experience stay in a private cabin and take in the breathtakingly beautiful Lake District Mountain scenery, with a glass of bubbly, from your hot tub.
